Online Art Generators
The first OAG I use was Weavesilk, I liked the final product however the generator did to much of the work in my opinion. The generator mirrors one side onto the other by default, so all of the designs are symmetrical; the overall focus of this generator appears to be on producing symmetrical images.
The second AOG I used was Viscosity, this art generator takes an interesting approach of allowing the creator to modify geometric shapes. This technique in interesting, however limiting seeing as you cannot create altogether new shapes for your images.
The third AOG I utilized was Bomomo, the generator is my least favorite of those I tried due to the complete lack of control over the brushes. In this AOG the brushes (yes plural) continuously move near your cursor regardless of what you do; I am not a fan of this lack of control.

A camera in Every Pocket
How do you feel the popularity of cell phones embedded with high-quality cameras has changed the nature of photography?
With the proliferation of camera technology to the masses we have begun to see a flood of photographs that have a high technical quality, but lack artistic quality. In decades prior the bar for entry into the realm of photographers, in the late nineteenth century it was set at very expensive and extremely time consuming, with photographs taking days to develop properly. In the twentieth century cameras became easier to operate and less time consuming, simultaneously they became more affordable and easier to obtain. Now starting with the combination of cellular and camera technology has made the camera part of what most first world citizens would consider a necessity. This cosmic shift is in large part responsible for the flood of poorly taken photographs and a general over saturation of the photography market. This shift can be viewed in one of two way: firstly it can be viewed as the death of professional photography; or it can be viewed as the beginning of a new and better age, in which anyone can take high quality photographs at any time.
