Conceptual Critique
1. I think that all of these photographs have perfected focus for the purpose of making a better shot, even the one with the boat in the fog. The sad girl and her teddy bear has an increased contrast to make the image more striking. I believe that the sheep image has the strongest composition with all of the sheep acting as two elements.
2. The reflection in the boat image gives that composition a sense of unparalleled depth, the image of the man in the woods has that light emanating from in front of the figure, giving it a mystical feeling. The girl with her teddy bear by far has the longest shadows of this group.
3. The image in the forest by far seems to be more mystical than the others, this image implies a sense of awe and supernatural wonder. The dropping eight ball symbolizes sinking a ball in a game of billiards/pool, that image gives a sense of happiness. The foggy boat image gives a sense of mysticism and wonder about the unknown.
5. The boating image tells the story of a singe man, maybe a person who has recently lost someone is returning from a long day of lonely fishing. The image of the man in the forest tells the story a of someone who heard a sound outside in the darkness and went to investigate, he found something... wonderful and supernatural.
I commented on these three blogs for this assignment.
